Frequently Asked Questions
Which size should I choose?
To determine the correct size, measure your chest and waist circumference while wearing the correct underwear. Then, please compare your body measurements with my size chart and use your chest measurement as a guide when choosing. The width measurements in the size chart cover a range "from to." Please note: If your body measurement corresponds to the lower value, the dirndl will fit tightly; if your body measurement corresponds to the upper value, the dirndl will fit loosely.
Which size should I choose if my body measurements are between sizes?
It is recommended to always choose the size that corresponds to your chest circumference.
Based on this, the front length will also fit if your chest measurement is correct. The waist measurement is easier to adjust. If your chest measurement is between two sizes, choose the smaller size, as a dirndl is a tight-fitting garment.
Why are most patterns only available in single sizes?
If only one size has to be shown on the paper sheet, it is clearer and the seam allowance can be visibly marked. This saves time and no errors are made when copying. Usually only one size is needed, the rest goes into the trash or archive and is often no longer used. In addition, the sale of individual sizes makes the unauthorized and legally prohibited resale of my patterns a little less attractive to fraudsters.
