Combine pattern pieces

There are many ways to combine almost all pattern pieces and swap individual sections.

You can swap, omit, or add peplums, sleeves, and collars. Front and back pieces can also be interchanged. The button placket can be replaced with a zipper or a hook-and-eye closure.

The price depends on the time required and starts at €30 per pattern compilation (incl. A0 format pattern). An A4 format for self-printing is not possible.

Note: No custom fitting – no body measurements are taken into account; a ready-to-wear size must be chosen.

Pattern Development for Business Customers

I create digital patterns based on customer specifications, primarily for traditional
costumes. After a successful fitting of the prototype, I grade the pattern and provide a size chart for all sizes.

I also offer to convert tried-and-tested hand-drawn patterns into digital format. In doing so, I meticulously and precisely transfer every detail.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which size should I choose?

To determine the correct size, measure your bust and waist circumference while wearing the appropriate underwear. Then, compare your body measurements with my size chart and base your choice on your bust circumference. The width measurements in the size chart include a range "from to." Please note: if your body measurement corresponds to the lower value, the dirndl will fit loosely; if your body measurement corresponds to the upper value, the dirndl will fit snugly.

Which size should I choose if my body measurements are between sizes?

It is recommended to always choose the size that corresponds to your chest circumference.
Based on this, the front length will also fit if your chest measurement is correct. The waist measurement is easier to adjust. If your chest measurement is between two sizes, choose the smaller size, as a dirndl is a tight-fitting garment.

Why are most patterns only available in single sizes?

If only one size needs to be shown on the paper sheet, it's clearer, and seam allowances can be clearly marked. This saves time and eliminates copying errors. Usually, only one size is needed; the rest ends up in the trash or in the archives and is often never used again. Furthermore, selling individual sizes makes the unauthorized and legally prohibited resale of my patterns somewhat less attractive to fraudsters.
